Description of the project and objectives |
As a result of many years of operation, the reception buildings of railway stations in Bulgaria are in a very poor state. This requires their modernisation, reconstruction and renovation, including their installation systems. The appearance of station reception is very important for the image of rail transport. In many cases, they represent the face of the railway. Not at random in Europe, big railway stations have been turned into shopping centres with shops, restaurants and car parks. It is therefore necessary to develop different concepts for the renovation and reconstruction of old stations and for the construction of new stations. The organisation of service in stations is of particular importance in order to create the necessary comfort and comfort for passengers. The project provides for the overall reconstruction of the host in line with the high requirements of the European standards in the field to ensure passenger security and quality of service provision, a comfortable working environment for staff, as well as to bring the surrounding area in line with accessibility requirements for disabled and disadvantaged people. Energy efficiency measures in public spaces, roll-out of smart, modern systems for managing heating, air conditioning, lighting, information, etc. will be implemented. renovation and constructive strengthening of individual elements of structures, replacement of roof frames, partial functional conversion, replacement of electricity, water and sewerage systems will be carried out. |
