With Decision No. C (2023) 5883 of 4 August 2023, the European Commission approved the changes to the program proposed by the Managing Authority. The amendment proposal aims to direct released financial resources to eligible measures and beneficiaries under priority axis 2 "Waste" of the OPE 2014-2020. In accordance with the principle of partnership, the changes have been agreed and approved by all stakeholders with a view to their successful implementation within the scope of the operational program.
The European Commission approved the programme amendment proposed by the Managing Authority by Decision № (2023) 3106 of 04 May 2023. The target values of indicators under priority axis 1 "Water" have been updated, in compliance with Article 30 and Annex II (5) of Regulation (EU) 1303/2013, which allows revision of the milestones and targets in justified cases, such as a significant change in economic, environmental and labour market conditions in a Member State.
The European Commission approved the programme amendment proposed by the Managing Authority by Decision № C(2022) 7660 of 21 October 2022. It is related to the establishment of a new priority axis 7 "Support for Ukrainian refugees in Bulgaria”. OPE shall provide support to cover the basic needs of people, coming from Republic of Ukraine through measure implemented by the Ministry of tourism - providing accommodation, breakfast and warm lunch.
The European Commission approved the programme amendment proposed by the Managing Authority by Decision № C(2022) 6096 of 22 August 2022. Additional measures under priority axis 3 „Natura 2000 and Biodiversity“ have been approved, related to afforestation and the introduction of certain forestry practices in and outside Natura 2000 protected sites.
By Decision № C (2020) 4105 of 16 June 2020, the European Commission officially approved the amendments of the programme proposed by the Managing Authority.
